UK. Plaza Premium Group is to bring its Aerotel airport transit hotel brand to the UK with an opening at London Heathrow Airport.
Aerotel London Heathrow is scheduled to begin operations at Terminal 3 in April 2018, and is now available for online reservation. It will be the only airport landside hotel at the terminal.
To celebrate the launch, Plaza Premium Group is offering customers -30% off the cost of their booking on stays between 1 May and 1 July 2018.
It will be the sixth Aerotel to open in the world, and the first in Europe.
Aerotel London Heathrow’s lobby will be located in the east wing of Terminal 3 arrivals, and it will also be accessible by foot from Terminal 2, the central bus station and Heathrow Express.
Flexible bookings are available with slots starting at six hours. The hotel will have 82 rooms, each accommodating between one and four guests. Aerotel London will also feature a 24-hour Library Lounge offering a variety of hot and cold food and drinks. Complimentary Wi-Fi, newspapers, magazines and TVs will also be offered.
“Aerotel London Heathrow is the group’s sixth hotel at an airport to meet the demand of transit passengers,” said Plaza Premium Group General Manager, UK Amin Amin. “It promises a comfortable airport accommodation and flexible booking hours, bringing guests a new home-away-from-home experience at Heathrow, with added convenience.”
Heathrow Airport Head of Property John Arbuckle commented: “We are delighted to have worked with Aerotel to bring Heathrow passengers this new, comfortable, modern hotel next to Terminal 3 Arrivals. This will be valuable for customers in need of a quiet haven to rest, relax and prepare for their onward journey.”
