USA. Pittsburgh International Airport has opened new food & beverage outlet Farm Fresh Deli.
The 607sq ft premium deli is located in the Center Core at the airport’s Airmall. Farm Fresh Deli provides travellers with natural, organic and speciality dishes including made-to-order sandwiches, homemade organic soups, salads and side dishes.
The “classic deli atmosphere” outlet uses fresh ingredients and sources local seasonal produce when available.
The breakfast menu includes sandwiches and paninis made with sausage or bacon, free-range eggs made to order, and carved ham off the bone.
A sandwich selection features Italian subs, pastrami, or fresh-roasted ham, turkey and free-range chicken, all carved to order and served on fresh bread handcrafted by BreadWorks. The ‘Pickle Pepper Patch’ area offers an assortment of 16 pickles and peppers for travellers to customise their sandwiches.
