Pernod Ricard launches Royal Salute City Edition exclusively with Dubai Duty Free

UAE. Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail has launched a limited-edition Royal Salute Dubai City edition exclusively in partnership with Dubai Duty Free. The gift item is available for a limited time from 1 December through the leading travel retailer.

The brand owner said that the launch is a celebration of “the city’s blending of old and new traditions”. Its release is timed to mark the recent 50th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates and the Dubai Expo 2020, a global cultural platform and gathering of nations, for collaboration, education and progress, which runs for six months from October.

Pernod Ricard said that the limited-edition gift pack combines “key elements from the world of Royal Salute and the vibrant city into one souvenir”.

To celebrate its release, Royal Salute offers shoppers travelling from Dubai International Airport (DXB) the chance to capture their exploration of the Royal Salute kingdom digitally by creating a photo or GIF on the brand’s ‘throne’.

This interactive airport experience is a first for the luxury whisky, and is live in Terminal 3, Concourse B departures from 15 December to 15 January 2022. Additional brand activations are being staged across Terminal 3 from 1 December.
