Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail has teamed up with World Duty Free to promote the travel retail-exclusive Jameson Deconstructed Series at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2.
The pop-up boutique was open in October and November and educated passengers about the flavours and aromas of each of the three expressions in the series.
The pop-up was supported by a competition, promoted on World Duty Free’s digital and social media channels, which offered passengers a chance to win a trip to Dublin.
Over 2,300 travellers globally entered the competition. The winner will receive return flights and two nights’ accommodation in Dublin, a whiskey masterclass and guided tour at Jameson’s Bow Street distillery and dinner at a top local restaurant.
The Heathrow pop-up builds on the 2016 Jameson Deconstructed Series launch which included activations at Sydney and Dublin airports.
Jameson Deconstructed Series champions taste exploration through a raw study, segmenting and amplifying the three key components of Jameson Original: Pot Still Whiskey, Grain Whiskey and Cask Contribution. The three exclusive whiskies have been inspired by each element: Jameson Bold, Jameson Round and Jameson Lively.
