Perfumer’s Workshop adds Bois D’Orient to Amouroud fragrance collection

Niche fragrance specialist Perfumer’s Workshop International (PWI) has extended the Amouroud fragrance range with Bois D’Orient. The new scent will be showcased at next month’s TFWA World Exhibition (Yellow Village, G40).

PWI Founder Donald Bauchner said: “Adding new scents to our portfolio is a vital part of our travel retail strategy. Ensuring our portfolio offers a breadth of choice gives both our current and potential customers a reason to partner with us, as they can choose from a variety of oud-based fragrances dependent upon their customer base.”

PWI, which has seven oud-based fragrances in its portfolio, has been building up its global travel retail business with recent launches at Harrods London, throughout the Middle East and in Russia.

Seven oud-based fragrances and counting: Bois D’Orient joins PWI’s growing Amouroud portfolio

Bois D’Orient, described as “civilised and a little wild”, combines wood notes, rare spices and exotic flowers. The fragrance opens with notes of bergamot, black currant and cinnamon bark and becomes richer as it combines tuberose absolute and Turkish rose absolute with galbanum. Base notes feature oud, amber and patchouli.

Bauchner continued: “The ‘niche’ perfume category continues to gain interest and development in travel retail. We are delighted with how, over the years, we have managed to establish a strong presence in this opportunity filled channel, and we are confident that we will continue to build on this success.

“Exhibiting at TFWA World Exhibition with this new addition is an exciting time for the company. We think it’s very important to offer our customers a range of different scents and blends, to ensure that we cater to every taste. Having a broad range of Amouroud fragrances means we will have something for everyone, and we cannot wait to show Bois D’Orient to our current and potential customers.”
