“Perfect Match”: Bottega and Lindt join forces for travel retail promotion

The premium set is presented in decorative gold boxes ideal for gifting and exclusive to travel retail.

Italian winery and distillery Bottega and Swiss chocolatier Lindt & Sprüngli Duty Free have joined forces in a cross-category collaboration targeting the premium gifting market.

The companies have launched display-based cross-category activation combining their bestselling products in travel retail – a 75cl bottle of Bottega Gold and Lindt Swiss Masterpieces Pralines – in an effort to promote joint sales.

The new promotion called “Perfect Match” follows the successful collaboration between the two companies that offered Dubai Duty Free customers a bottle of Bottega Amarone della Valpolicella paired with Lindt Excellence chocolate bars in October 2016 exclusively at Dubai Duty Free.

Launched during the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes last week, the partnership will be featured across a range of duty free and travel retail outlets worldwide.

For the promotion, the brands have developed a dedicated display solution designed to highlight the initiative – displays and more support material will be available for travel retail outlets in 2018.
