People power: Six employees land big prizes in the Areas Munich Challenge

INTERNATIONAL. A major global employee incentive competition run by travel food & beverage and retail company Areas has produced winners across six regions.

The Areas Munich Challenge – framed within the Areas Worldwide Challenge programme, which returns this year for the first time since 2019 – was launched to motivate and engage Areas teams through competition, improving customer experience and actively selling to boost sales.

The six winners were Adrian Huff, Areas USA (Tortas Frontera, Chicago International Airport T5); Pascal Kluijtmans, Areas France (Forest Lodge – Center Parcs Les Trois Forêts); Ruben Camacho, Areas Iberia (Burger King, Barcelona Airport T1); Andreas Mereu, Areas Germany (Center Parcs – Park Bostalsee); Maribel Casillas, Areas Latam (Carls Jr., Monterrey Airport); and Giuseppe Triffiletti, Areas Italy (Vyta, Venezia Railway Station).

Each of them plus their chosen guest will have their expenses paid this August to attend the multi-sport 2022 European Championships in Munich.

The Areas Worldwide Challenge programme began in April this year and involves several challenges which are aimed at Areas employees, who are encouraged to drive customer satisfaction and growth. The overall winners will be named early next year.
