Paul & Shark emphasises quality and innovation to target Asia Pacific market

Italian lifestyle brand Paul & Shark will showcase its Fall/Winter 2018 collection, along with highlights from its Spring/Summer offer, at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore (Basement 2, D11).

Paul & Shark has chosen three collections to emphasise the brand’s quality and technological innovation.

Aqua Leather presents water-repellent leather jackets which are treated to maintain softness. They combine hi-tech with “functionality and comfort”.

The Travel Project: Designed with comfort in mind

The Travel Project range is designed to ensure maximum comfort when travelling. A blazer and trousers in crease-proof and stain-proof fabric target formal and leisure wear while cashmere sweaters are intertwined with a fine nylon thread to maintain shape and elasticity. The range also includes a foldable, light down jacket.

The Fall/Winter 2018 range includes a jacket with an “urban yet technical” look. In an anti-wrinkle fabric, the jacket combines lightness with high resistance and heat retention.

The Loro Piana Storm and Rain System aim to offer ‘ultimate’ water and wind protection

The Loro Piana Storm System and Rain System treatments are designed for ‘ultimate’ protection. The Storm System uses natural fibres, flanked by state-of-the-art technology, to blend style and functionality. A hydrophilic membrane is claimed to be resistant to water, breathable and windproof.

The Loro Piana Rain System treatment increases water resistance and offers protection from dust, dirt and liquid stains, according to Paul & Shark. A thin hydrophilic membrane is applied on the reverse of the fabric to ensure breathability and wind protection.

Paul & Shark Worldwide Travel Retail Director Catherine Bonelli said: “Paul & Shark has enjoyed another extremely successful year with 2017-8 seeing us open a number of new airport stores including Cairo, Istanbul, Bangkok, Wuhan, Nice and Riyadh.

“Our cruise ship business also continues to grow with new listings including the Norwegian Joy. These, plus our existing locations, are all performing extremely well and we’re very happy with results to date.

“Nevertheless, we still see a lot of growth potential for Paul & Shark in all regions, but particularly Asia Pacific.”

Paul & Shark’s bespoke embroidery machine will feature on the brand’s stand at the Singapore event.
