Passenger traffic surges +11.7% at Dubai International in June

UAE. Dubai International has reported a double-digit surge in traffic in June for a total of over 43.7 million passengers in the first half of 2018.

Operator Dubai Airports said traffic was up +11.7% year-on-year in June, to 6.8 million, and +1.6% in the first half.

An impressive June helped Dubai International record a +1.6% increase in passenger traffic for the first half of 2018.

The surge in traffic in June was attributed to the impact of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan on traffic last year.
