ParkVia renews car parking contract with Memmingen Airport

GERMANY. Airport parking retailer ParkVia has renewed its existing contract with Allgäu Airport Memmingen, extending a six-year relationship.

Drivers parking vehicles at the German airport, which welcomes about 1.5 million passengers a year, will continue to have access to a range of onsite options when reserving through ParkVia’s intuitive booking portal.

Memmingen Airport has plans in place for terminal improvements and the expansion of its runway over the next two years, which will place new demands on parking

In addition to exposure across ParkVia’s B2C platform, Memmingen Airport’s parking products also benefit from additional streams of marketing through its airline partnerships with the likes of Ryanair, Wizz Air and SunExpress.

ParkVia Commercial Director Valentina Moise said: “It’s important that our airport partners feel we strengthen the services they offer and add real value to their customers’ travel experiences, which is why we’re thrilled Memmingen has chosen to continue our collaboration.

“There’s a clear synergy between our shared brand values and we are keen to explore opportunities that will strengthen the partnership in the upcoming contract term.”

ParkVia has been growing its worldwide footprint this year, strengthening its hold in the European airport parking market and winning business in South America for the first time.
