Paris Chocolat targets travel retail with ‘haute-couture’ chocolate concept

French chocolate and macaroon specialist Paris Chocolat has set its sights on expansion in travel retail.

The company exhibited at TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes for the first time last year. It returns this year (Yellow Village C27) with a display unit which it has restyled to suit the needs of travel retailers.

“More than just a treat”: Paris Chocolat presents its ‘haute-couture’ range of chocolates and macaroons.

Paris Chocolat believes that its chocolates are “more than just a treat”. And its founder Eric Monterrat is determined to build on the brand’s “haute-couture image” by emphasising its ability to combine traditional chocolate-making methods with today’s trends and favoured flavours.

Paris Chocolat’s ‘Le Macaronia’ range of macaroons will be highlighted at the Cannes event. Macaroon flavours include gianduja, royal ice cream, lychee rose, coffee, caramel and pistachio.

Paris Chocolat has revamped its display unit to meet the needs of travel retailers.
