Paradies Lagardère unveils world’s first TripAdvisor travel retail store at Toronto Pearson

CANADA. Paradies Lagardère yesterday opened the first TripAdvisor airport store – a ‘travel essentials’ shop in Toronto Pearson International Airport’s domestic Terminal 1.

In addition to offering travel essentials, the store features a large, interactive screen that travellers can use to learn more about the attractions and facilities of Toronto and the surrounding area.

TripAdvisor’s tagline is ‘Know better. Book better. Go better.’ It claims to be the world’s largest travel site, attracting over 455 million monthly visitors worldwide to its review and ranking platform.The site boasts 570 million reviews and opinions covering airlines, accommodation, attractions and restaurants, helping travellers decide where to stay, how to fly, what to do and where to eat.

‘Know better. Book better. Go better.’ TripAdvisor claims to be the the world’s most popular travel site, attracting over 455 million monthly visitors.

 TripAdvisor-branded sites are available in 49 markets.

Paradies Lagardère, formed by Lagardère Travel Retail’s acquisition of Paradies in late 2015, began its partnership with TripAdvisor in 2016. The company plans to introduce three more TripAdvisor concepts in 2018, at Raleigh–Durham International (as reported), George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, respectively.
