USA. Paradies Lagardère is to introduce popular Austin brand Salvation Pizza to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, having been awarded a concession recently.
Salvation Pizza has three existing locations in Austin where it serves New Haven, Connecticut-style pizza, salads and appetisers. The local eatery has been named the best pizza in the city by Thrillist, Eater Austin, Austin-American Statesman and Austin Monthly.
The new unit will complement the retailer’s recently opened F&B outlets at Austin-Bergstrom, namely Ruta Maya Coffee, Thundercloud Subs and Austin Article. The travel retailer will also introduce Berry Austin, Hut’s Hamburgers and Barton Springs to the airport later this year.
“Salvation Pizza has been a local favourite in Austin for ten years,” said Paradies Lagardère Senior Vice President, Food and Beverage Bill Casey.
