FRANCE/UK. The organiser of Our People Matter, a major event relating to working in the travel retail and duty free sector, will be in Cannes later this month to discuss the conference and awards ceremony with industry stakeholders.

Christine Martin, Founder and Managing Director of the ISPY Academy, will be at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference (30 September to 5 October) to promote Our People Matter to potential sponsors and partners. She is also seeking to attract attendees and speakers and is looking to generate entries to the various awards categories, which cover the training and performance of travel retail staff.

Christine Martin is coming to Cannes to spread the word about Our People Matter

As a business, ISPY Academy concentrates primarily on duty free and travel retail educational and career pathways and promotes working in the industry as a “career of choice”. Its roots are in the multi-airline cabin crew training, assessment, reward and recognition event ISPY (Inflight Sales Person of the Year).

Martin said that Our People Matter focuses mainly on how the wider travel retail and duty free industry can drive organic growth by maximising its people potential. Opportunities such as ‘recruiting and retaining talent’ and ‘engagement and technology’ are just a few of the subjects that will be presented and debated at the conference, she added.

The event will be staged at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, London Heathrow on 6 and 7 December 2018.
