Ottawa International Airport offers snapshot of new concessions programme

CANADA. Ottawa International Airport Authority has offered a glimpse of the new retail and F&B offer Paradies Lagardère and SSP Group will bring to the Canadian capital.

As reported, they were the big winners as the airport revealed the results of a concessions overhaul.

The master retail concession was secured by Paradies Lagardère and the retailer has promised “an unforgettable retail district”.

The retail offer will include travel essentials and local products at The Locks (above) and a selection of confectionery at Dylan’s Candy Bar (below).

SSP Group, meanwhile, was awarded the master F&B concession.

At the centre of the revitalised F&B offer from SSP is the Canal Market Hall (above), which will offer freshly-made sandwiches, cooked-to-order pizzas and sushi, as well as burgers, craft beer and coffee.

A sense of local flavour will be created from classic Ottawa late-night staple Zak’s Diner (above) and brew-pub favourite Big Rig Brewery (below).
