OTG promotes Yasmin Sheriff to new business development role

USA. OTG Management recently promoted Yasmin Sheriff to the post of Executive Vice President of Global Business Development.

Yasmin Sheriff: Two decades of airport commercial experience

In her expanded role, she will lead the business development team targeting concessions opportunities in airports across the USA and beyond, cultivate brand and small business partnerships, and foster strategic relationships with airports and airlines.

She joined the company in 2021 as VP of Global Business Development. A diversity and inclusion leader, Sheriff began her airport career as a DBE programme consultant and then Deputy Director of Diversity at Boston Logan International Airport.

She later worked with HMSHost in Strategic Alliances-Business Development and served as Assistant General Counsel and thereafter managed Business Development and ACDBE programming for Stellar Partners, Inc. She also served as a consultant providing retail and food & beverage business growth and strategic planning services to public and private companies.

Her experience includes business development, creating and managing strategic partnerships with airport clients, brands, minority and women-owned businesses, small business advocacy & DEI thought leadership, development and management of multi-unit store leases, negotiating/closing complex acquisitions, government contracting, as well as corporate and regulatory compliance.

Sheriff is an active member of several related industry associations including Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), AAAE, Women’s Foodservice Forum, National Diversity Council, American Bar Association and is a licensed attorney with the Massachusetts State Bar.
