USA. OTG is offering a 50% discount on all food & beverage purchases by on-duty TSA employees across the hospitality group’s ten North American airport locations for the duration of the federal government partial shutdown.
The discount, which kicks in today, comes as the federal government shutdown stretches into its third week, the longest on record.
President Trump is refusing to approve a budget unless it includes funds for a Mexican border wall. An estimated 800,000 federal employees are currently not being paid.
“The TSA plays an integral part in the travel experience. As our neighbours in the airport space, we wanted to pitch in and assist where we could during this difficult period,” said OTG CEO Rick Blatstein.
OTG operates shops and restaurants at ten major airports across North America, including Newark Liberty International, United Airlines Terminal C; George Bush Intercontinental, United Airlines Terminals, C & E; LaGuardia Airport, Delta Air Lines Terminals C & D; Minneapolis St. Paul, Delta Air Lines Concourse G; and Philadelphia International Airport, American Airlines Terminal B.
