USA. Airport hospitality specialist OTG has named Jill Myers as the company’s Vice President of Business Diversity and Community Engagement.
Myers, who has worked in the airport hospitality industry for over 30 years, was most recently OTG Vice President Global Retail Brand Development. Earlier in her career, she held senior positions with Stellar and HMSHost and managed large real estate projects. Myers was also a legislative aide in the Georgia House of Representatives.
Her new role will focus on strengthening the company’s Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) relationships with airports and operators. It will include creating new and expanded procurement opportunities between OTG and local minority businesses and assisting business development by identifying new ACDBE and joint venture (JV) partners.
OTG CEO Rick Blatstein said: “When it comes to business and partnership development, Jill has done it all, and there is no one better.
“This role is essential as we continue to transform airports across North America and make OTG-operated terminals the best in the business.”
Myers commented: “OTG has a clear vision. That vision is to hire the most accomplished experts to create a great experience for the traveller. I am very proud of the OTG team and I’m thrilled to start my new role.”
Founded by Rick Blatstein in 1996, OTG is one of North America’s leading airport food & beverage operators.
Its network includes over 350 restaurants and retail locations in airports including Newark, LaGuardia, JFK, Philadelphia, Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport and George Bush Intercontinental in Houston.

FAB SUPERSTARS & ESG AWARDS
The Moodie Davitt Report is inviting submissions for the FAB Superstars Awards 2022.
This second virtual edition of the awards will again shine the spotlight on the thousands of front-of-house and behind the scenes heroes and heroines who have helped keep the food & beverage community within our industry going throughout the challenges of the last year.
In addition, this year’s awards include an important new category, the FAB ESG Awards, which have been introduced to celebrate, recognise and reward those people and initiatives that have made a positive impact in the areas of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
The FAB ESG & Superstars Awards will be presented on Tuesday 13 September to conclude the Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Conference 2022, which is taking place on 12-13 September during The Moodie Davitt Report Virtual Travel Retail Week.
They will recognise and reward the achievements of travel retail employees across airport, airline, downtown store and cruise sectors, and celebrate the strength of the human spirit, resourcefulness and ingenuity in our industry.
