USA. United Airlines and OTG are preparing to release a competitive solicitation for duty free concessions at Newark Liberty International Airport Terminal C.
The United Airlines terminal has been redeveloped in partnership with OTG, which manages its concessions.
To receive a link to the solicitation documents upon release (expected to be next week), OTG and United ask interested parties to send an email to ewrdutyfree@otgexp.com.
Dufry is the incumbent duty free retailer with three stores located post-security. Other retail outlets include Dufry-owned Hudson bookstores, Tumi, Swatch and MAC boutiques among others.
OTG has already introduced over 55 new dining venues to the terminal and has deployed 6,000 iPads, allowing travellers to use their United Mileage Plus Award Miles to pay for food & beverage.
