Oslo Airport names new commercial chief as Espen Ettre retires

NORWAY. Airport company Avinor has named Torgeir Kjos Sørensen as Commercial Director Property and Commercial Development at Oslo Airport.

He joined in August, replacing long-time commercial chief Espen Ettre.

Sørensen was previously Commercial Director at Norwegian department store group Steen & Strom and gained extensive aviation experience in a long career with regional carrier SAS.

He joins as Avinor moves towards the completion of a major terminal expansion project, with new and upgraded retail and food & beverage facilities among the central features.

As we reported this week, Travel Retail Norway has opened a 3,500sq m (soon to be 4,000sq m) Heinemann Duty Free Arrivals shop, the stand-out feature of the development to date.
