Online parking reservation specialist ParkCloud seeks further expansion after contract gains

Mark Pegler: “It’s vital that we’re continuously driving innovation through new technologies”

EUROPE. Online parking reservation specialist ParkCloud is seeking to build on recent contract gains with new business as it marks its tenth anniversary. The company has added 100 car parks across 12 countries to its parking portfolio, and bolstering services to its online network of more than three million users.

Contract wins for the business in 2018 have come in: Germany, including new locations Hannover and Bremen; Spain, with new activations across major airport sites in Barcelona, Alicante and Ibiza; and the UK, with new car parks from Edinburgh to Exeter.

Italy has also seen growth, with a recent contract renewal with rail  operator Trenitalia, and a partnership with  Italy’s fourth largest airport, Venice Marco Polo. ParkCloud now has on-site parking partnerships with the leading six Italian airports.

The company also reports that it has strengthened its presence in Finland, Austria, Turkey, South Africa and Greece, where ParkCloud has recently added car park deals at Thessaloniki and Kavala airports.

Customers reserving parking through ParkCloud can also book FastTrack and lounge passes at a number of airports, including Nice, Frankfurt and Belfast International.

ParkCloud Managing Director Mark Pegler said: “As the travel market continues to flourish, with more and more people embracing digital booking channels, we’re well positioned to continue our rate of growth and anticipate the addition of several new markets.”

He added: “As a leader in our respective industry, it’s vital that we’re continuously driving innovation through new technologies and ultimately providing our customers with more freedom to choose the travel options that are right for them.’’
