SINGAPORE/INTERNATIONAL. Each delegate registering for this year’s Trinity Forum will result in a new tree being planted by environmental charity One Tree Planted.
The initiative is part of The Trinity Forest Project, a Moodie Davitt Report project that has led to the planting of more than 6,500 trees since the Virtual Travel Retail Expo in 2020.
The One Tree Planted Initiative is dedicated to reforestation, conservation and protection of endangered forests around the world. As of the end of 2021, One Tree Planted had planted over 40 million trees in more than 43 countries since 2014.
Trinity delegates will add to that number, with The Moodie Davitt Report pledging US$1 per individual registration, the cost of planting each tree.
This will add to the 6,546 trees planted via One Tree Planted following The Moodie Davitt Report’s and FILTR.QINGWA’s Virtual Travel Retail Expos in 2020 and 2021.
The majority of the trees were planted in New Zealand, the homeland of The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie.
Separate from events and as part of The Moodie Davitt Report’s carbon offset programme, we have also planted 480 trees so far with the charity Oblong Trees. You can see where those trees have been planted across the world via this link.
About The Trinity Forum
The Trinity Forum – to be staged in Singapore 1-2 November – is co-organised by The Moodie Davitt Report with Airports Council International (ACI) World and ACI Asia-Pacific. This year it is hosted by Changi Airport Group (CAG).
The event promises to deliver a provocative and challenging programme about the big issues facing global travel retail, while also celebrating the industry’s encouraging revival as the pandemic eases.
Delegates will enjoy outstanding networking opportunities during the event. The Gala Dinner – a highlight of any Trinity Forum – will take place at the spectacular Jewel Changi Airport on 2 November, hosted by CAG and sponsored by Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail.
Check out the event website to register and get the latest updates on the conference programme, hotel accommodation and travel tips.
