One Red Kite’s Elliot Dowley wins Two Stacks label design competition at Virtual Travel Retail Expo

One Red Kite Data Analyst Elliot Dowley has claimed top prize in a label design competition featured by Irish whiskey specialist Two Stacks during the Virtual Travel Retail Expo.

Dowley edged out efforts from his One Red Kite colleagues James Gallagher, Thomas Daffern, Shona McCauley and Chloe Duggan who also entered the competition, among many other Expo visitors.

As reported, Two Stacks offered stand visitors the opportunity to win a coveted box of Time Well Spent whiskies.

Two Stacks Director Shane McCarthy said a second pack of whiskies would be sent to the One Red Kite office in appreciation of their efforts.

The Two Stacks label design competition brought out the artistic talents of One Red Kite team members

“Team Two Stacks are very grateful for the efforts that went into all of the incredibly creative label designs, each showcasing both the diversity and personal touch that the brand encompasses in its own label developments,” McCarthy said.

“Congratulations to the winner who will receive a very rare 20 Year Old Single Malt, a 12 Year Old Single Grain and bespoke Two Stacks Tasting Glass.”

Two Stacks spotlighted its Dram in a Can concept at the Virtual Travel Retail Expo. The innovative product was one of 12 finalists in the QDF Factor, the extraordinary industry competition to encourage innovation and differentiation among brand owners.

The winner of the joint initiative between Qatar Duty Free and The Moodie Davitt Report was announced at a special session of the Virtual Travel Retail Expo.

Dram in a Can underlines Two Stacks’ mission to lead the new renaissance revival of Irish whiskey. Dubbed as the “world’s first straight whiskey in a can”, it serves the brand’s 43% five-part blend in a 100ml can, with four-packs offered during its US launch at a suggested retail price of US$18.99.

At 22g per serve, it is, according to Two Stacks, eight x lighter than the conventional double serve which is featured inflight by many airlines.
