USA. Locally-headquartered coffee roaster and retailer La Colombe has opened at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).
The unit is located in Concourse A-East. MarketPlace PHL and La Colombe will conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 15 August to celebrate the opening.
La Colombe has five cafés throughout the city, as well as locations in Boston, Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. It plans to continue its expansion over the next several years, including opening a second location at the airport in Concourse E.
MarketPlace PHL Vice President and General Manager Mel Hannah said: “Our partnership with La Colombe provides travellers with easy access to one of the best cups of coffee in the city, while providing La Colombe with access to the thousands of travellers that pass through the airport each day.”
