On the move: Travelex launches battery-operated mobile kiosks at Perth Airport

AUSTRALIA. Travelex has launched new “On the Move” battery-operated mobile kiosks at Perth Airport.

The airport recently announced a six-year agreement with Travelex to supply foreign exchange at its terminals.

“Travelex’s new battery operated mobile kiosks bring foreign exchange services closer to international departure gates and allow greater engagement and choice for customers,” said Perth Airport Chief Commercial Officer Steve Holden.

“This is part of the evolution of foreign exchange at Perth Airport and brings even greater convenience to passengers, by offering them more opportunities to purchase in accessible locations,” he said.

Travelex Managing Director Dion Jensen said: “As the global leader in foreign exchange, Travelex is committed to challenging the status quo and innovating ways to make the essential process of currency exchange easier and more convenient.

“In launching this world first, we are very proud to have been able to collaborate with Perth Airport as a driven partner, to engage in delivering this new value and convenience experience to our customers,” Jensen added.
