On location Picture Gallery (2) – A red-letter day for Heinemann and Sydney Airport

AUSTRALIA. We continue our rolling coverage of the unveiling of  Heinemann Australia’s new luxury beauty, fashion and accessories store at Sydney Airport Terminal 1 and the New South Wales gateway’s dazzling luxury precinct. This Picture Gallery showcases the luxury precinct (currently 17 designer boutiques with Cartier and Versace to follow during the year) and the Heinemann Australia fashion & accessories zone.

As reported, the Heinemann Australia store features what the travel retailer calls a complete rethinking of its store design and assortment across fragrance, skincare, makeup, watches and jewellery, bolstered by the introduction of fashion and accessories. The spacious store offers customers what Heinemann describes as “an iconic and unique experience that connects back to the essence of Sydney and the beauty of its coastline, with clear visibility and elegant lines”.

The luxury precinct includes 17 designer boutiques (Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Bvlgari, Celine, Dior, Gentle Monster, Gucci, Hermès, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Prada, Rolex, Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co. and Valentino) plus the separate expanded offering from Heinemann Australia across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, alcohol, fragrance, technology and more. Cartier and Versace boutiques will follow this year.

More coverage to follow. ✈

Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster is stopping people in their tracks thanks to the presence of a kinetic art installation called ‘The Giant Head’. This intriguing piece allows viewers to experience mysterious emotions through its indecipherable facial expressions. The two-metre high robot is designed to blur the lines between retail and art space and to ponder the future of the human-robot relationship.
