Omnichannel retailer KrisShop celebrates month-long Anniversary Bonanza

Omnichannel retailer KrisShop is marking “yet another year of soaring success” through a month-long Anniversary Bonanza.

The digital festival started on 2 August and will run until 2 September. It features storewide promotions with discounted products, social media giveaways, a Spotify playlist and a cookout featuring celebrity chefs.

KrisShop noted that efforts made to pivot during the COVID pandemic have resulted in more than doubling the range of local and global brands on KrisShop.com. The platform offers an extensive collection of lifestyle items across 12 product categories.

“Since its official rebranding in 2019, KrisShop has actively advanced in its evolution from being the inflight duty free shop of Singapore Airlines (SIA) to a full-fledged omnichannel retailer,” KrisShop stated.

The KrisShop.com platform allows consumers to buy without flying and have purchases delivered to their doorsteps.

KrisShop highlighted key recent collaborations, including a tie-up with Singapore Tourism Board to spotlight local designers and Singapore’s retail scene. A partnership with Singapore Airlines (SIA) offered industry-first inflight live online shopping, with KrisShop’s ecommerce platform available via the KrisWorld inflight entertainment system.

The Anniversary Bonanza includes -20% off regular-priced items with a minimum spend of S$250 (US$185), and additional discounts for American Express cardholders. Up to -60% discounts are offered on products from brands including Bang & Olufsen, Kavalan, LG, Skin Inc and SMEG.

Daily surprises are included in the promotion, along with promo codes and further discounts on brands such as Bally, Kinohimitsu, Laneige and SAITO.

Mini games are featured on social media, coupled with weekly giveaways featuring Sennheiser headphones, Nintendo Switch Lite and a set of exclusive SIA mahjong tiles.

Shoppers are invited to participate in a memory game to win promo codes and, with a minimum spend of S$250 (US$185), they also receive a limited-edition KrisShop tote bag, along with a kit to participate in a design competition.

A curated Spotify playlist offers KrisShoppers music from Coldplay, The Weekend and Zedd and a KrisShop cook-out features celebrity chefs, including food blogger, Dr Leslie Tay, and renowned local pastry chef, Janice Wong.
