Oettinger Davidoff unveils streamlined management structure

Oettinger Davidoff has announced it is streamlining its leadership structure and aligning business processes more strongly with changing market conditions.

Head of Swiss Wholesale Business Edward Simon will take over from Charles Awad as leader of Global Marketing & Innovation. Sales Manager Gerhard Anderlohr will replace Simon and assume responsibility for the entire Swiss Wholesale Business.

The Omni-Channel Retail department, under the leadership of Carlo Motti, will be integrated into Global Marketing & Innovation in order to “simplify processes and responsibilities”, the company said. As part of this organisational refinement, Carlo Motti will also be leaving the company.

Tobias Gysin, in charge of Global Logistics & Warehousing, will be appointed Head of Global Operations and will be responsible for the Supply Chain as well as Production.

Chief Financial Officer Stefan Bloechinger will take on additional management responsibility for the areas of ICT & Business Technology.

Head of Legal & Compliance and Secretary to the Board Dr. Patrick Schädler will take over the Human Resources and Corporate Communications departments in addition to his current areas of responsibility. These will be merged into the new Corporate Services division.

The company is reviewing all business processes at its Basel headquarters under the corresponding transformation programme ‘Way Forward’. It was initiated at the beginning of this year under the leadership of CEO Beat Hauenstein.
