Nuance-Watson scores fragrant first with Arden – 03/05/07

Asian airport coup: Nuance-Watson will exclusively launch Elizabeth Arden’s Mediterranean fragrance before the domestic market and other airports in the Asia Pacific region

SINGAPORE. Elizabeth Arden will launch its latest fragrance, Mediterranean, exclusively with Nuance-Watson (Singapore) at Changi Airport, ahead of the domestic market and other Asia Pacific airports.

The scent, said to have been inspired by Arden spokesmodel Catherine Zeta Jones, was well-received during its pre-launch at a fragrances & cosmetics event held by Nuance-Watson (Singapore), the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Visa earlier this year, according to the leading duty free retailer.

A range of promotional materials to publicise the launch are being planned and will be prominently displayed in Changi’s terminals.

An in-store promotion is running until 14 May in all Nuance-Watson stores.

Ken Tse, Executive General Manager of Nuance-Watson (Singapore), said: “Mediterranean’s success again reinforces Changi Airport as the premier platform for new fragrance launches in the region. We have enjoyed working with Elizabeth Arden and Changi Airport to deliver yet another new and exciting fragrance to our travelling customers. The last collaboration with Arden was on the Provocative launch, a phenomenal success.”

Ayaz Furniturewalla, General Manager of Elizabeth Arden, added: “We are pleased to partner with CAAS and Nuance-Watson (Singapore) for this Asia Pacific debut of our new fragrance Mediterranean. It has been an outstanding strategic partnership that benefits both parties as proven from our past successes with them.”
