TURKEY. Istanbul Airport has launched new services designed to make travelling easier for families with children.
Its ‘Children and Family Friendly Airport’ concept was developed to coincide with Turkey’s National Sovereignty and Children’s Day on 23 April.
Services include reserved parking places for families, fast track security clearance, a children’s train, five playgrounds and childcare rooms.
All are featured in a short but entertaining video featuring children who are more than ready to travel again.
The youngsters point out that parents who have made excuses not to travel and “gave up on vacations” do not have any excuses any more as Istanbul Airport is declared children and family friendly.
