Nestlé International Travel Retail promotes Nizar Belhachmi to senior marketing role

Nizar Belhachmi: A key figure in the company’s drive to develop its brands in travel retail

Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR) has named Nizar Belhachmi as Marketing Manager. He joined Nestlé from Procter & Gamble as Senior Brand Manager in February 2016.

Since then his key responsibilities have included relaunching Nestlé Swiss chocolate, a product exclusively available in travel retail, and a campaign to boost sales of Nestlé’s Smarties brand.

With this promotion, Belhachmi takes charge of NITR’s marketing team with a brief to develop the core brands and lead digital engagement with consumers. He reports to General Manager Stewart Dryburgh.

Commenting on Belhachmi’s move, Dryburgh said: “Customer feedback has told us that we have made significant strides in the last few years when it comes to brand development and Nizar has been central to this step change.

“I’m delighted to welcome Nizar to NITR’s leadership team and look forward to him adding yet more value to our business, our customers’ category and our industry.”
