Moving forward with determination and confidence: Camicissima opens in Vienna

Fenicia-owned Italian fashion brand Camicissima*, an exhibitor at the inaugural Moodie Davitt Virtual Travel Retail Expo this October, has entered the Austrian market with a store in the heart of Vienna’s retail district.

The new store, at Trattnernof 2, is at a crossroads of the popular Petersplaz square and the Graben, an exclusive shopping street in the Austrian capital. The store features shirts from Camicissima’s Permanent, Classic, Fancy and Trendy collections, as well as the popular Non Iron shirt.

Its opening follows Camicissima’s first shop in Kenya and new stores in travel retail in Switzerland and France.

As reported, Camicissima opened a dedicated corner at Geneva Airport in partnership with Lagardère Travel Retail earlier this year.

The Camicissima corner at Geneva Airport was styled specifically for travel retail

The brand and retailer previously partnered for six openings at French airports in January for a test period: at Marseille, Nice, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Lyon airports (with two launches at Lyon).

Fenicia Chairman Fabio Candido said the Vienna shop will strengthen the brand’s presence in central Europe and “pave the way for new openings”.

“I am delighted by our team’s ability to move forward with great determination and confidence in the brand,” he said.
