Mosafer to open concept store at İstanbul New Airport

Luggage and travel accessories specialist Mosafer has signed an agreement to open a concept store at İstanbul New Airport.

As reported, the airport opened on 29 October to coincide with Turkish National Day and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.

Mosafer, says the brand, translates roughly as “a traveler, a nomad, a wanderer”. Its range comprises modern and high quality luggage and travel accessories.

The Mosafer boutique will be located in the airport’s 52,500sq m duty free shopping zone, which is the largest of its kind in the airport world. The brand said the store will offer “a wide range of travel products”.

Airport operator İGA said the new Istanbul airport offers “modern facilities, comforts, and unrivalled connectivity” and has “the capacity and security to keep growing”.

Mosafer International Business Director Charbel Mansour commented: “We are really excited to be part of this unprecedented shopping experience and look forward to providing customers with a great service and unique travel solutions.”

Airport operator İGA said İstanbul New Airport will have six runways, Europe’s largest car park and a capacity of 200 million passengers per year. The new airport services over 350 destinations.
