INTERNATIONAL. Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company has been appointed to curate the inaugural Connecting Aircraft & Passenger Virtual Conference & Expo on 14-18 September

The Connecting Aircraft & Passenger Virtual Conference & Expo, announced yesterday, is organised by specialist business publication Aircraft Commerce. Aircraft Commerce is a long-time organiser of highly successful physical exhibitions and conferences but this marks its first Virtual Expo.

The Connecting Aircraft & Passenger Virtual Conference & Expo will address critical issues that concern airports and airlines through the unprecedented turmoil of the COVID-19 crisis. The innovative 5-day format, featuring live and on-demand sessions, is targeted at a diverse audience including airline and airport executives, health and biosecurity experts, aircraft modification and interior providers, and ancillary revenue and specialist product vendors. As reported, Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company – a sister company to The Moodie Davitt Report parent Moodie International – has been created to drive the group’s diversification outside travel-related markets and to reinforce the success of the pioneering Virtual Travel Retail Expo set for October.

Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company is led by majority shareholder Martin Moodie as Chairman with fellow shareholders and Directors Dermot Davitt and Matt Willey (Chief Technology Officer at The Moodie Davitt Report). It will organise owned Virtual events as well a newly created contracting arm. The company has partnered with Singapore- and London-based integrated retail design and communications agency FILTR to produce all events.
