Moodie Davitt Report heralds success of inaugural Media Law International Virtual Annual Global Conference

INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Davitt Report yesterday hosted some of the media industry’s most eminent legal teams and in-house counsel in its capacity as co-organiser and technical moderator of the Media Law International Annual Global Conference.

The event featured a diverse range of sessions covering issues from digital content, copyright and the European Copyright Directive and social media liability through to libel tourism in Ireland and the practical application of legal & business affairs in the content production environment. It drew an international audience from some of the world’s largest media and television operators.

Welcoming speakers from organisations such as The Guardian, BBC, Channel 4, Viacom, Kantar, McCann FitzGerald, The Sun, WKB, Charles Russell Speechlys and Norris McLaughlin, international delegates were treated to ten sessions of the world’s leading lawyers providing an overview of the latest market developments and challenges.
