Montegrappa presented its entire collection at its first appearance at The Luxury Review, an exclusive press and media showcase featuring the latest in luxury products and services.

Organised by international event production company RAND Luxury, The Luxury Review is designed to provide 3-4 months of public relations and brand exposure for its exhibitors and sponsors. Each event typically sees over 200 tastemakers, journalists, editors, stylists, television and movie producers, product placement specialists, luxury aficionados and bloggers along with industry executives, according to RAND Luxury.

This year’s event was held last month on 18 October in New York City’s Metropolitan Pavilion. Comprising two segments, it included a press and media showing followed by an opportunity for invited guests to mingle, to discuss the products with the brands’ personnel, and to experience these items in person.

Among the highlights of the evening were the presentation of new models from Lexus, Fisker Automotive and Ducati Motorcycles. Other fine brands included SimXperience, Steinway Lyngdorf audio components, Orbita watch winders, as well as watch brand House of Horology with its “˜Bedlam’ collection.

Appropriately positioned near the jewellery displays, Montegrappa showcased new pens never before seen in public, along with recent works of art including The Alchemist, Chaos by Sylvester Stallone, Frank Sinatra and the complete set of Batman pen, watch and cufflinks.

The event also saw the world debut of the US$1 million Centennial Dragon Pen and the Brain Pen. The latter was inspired by American Professor of Neurology Dr Richard Restak, with whom Montegrappa has been working for two years to develop this complex creation. Dr Restak was at the event, alongside Montegrappa CEO Giuseppe Aquila.
