Mondelez World Travel Retail makes senior marketing appointments

Dogus Kezer: 17 years of consumer goods experience

Mondelez World Travel Retail (WTR) has named Dogus Kezer as Associate Director Category Marketing and Beatriz De Otto as Head of Customer Marketing. Both Kezer and De Otto report directly to Mondelez World Travel Retail Managing Director Jaya Singh.

Commenting on the appointments Singh said: “Dogus and Beatriz join an excellent leadership team, who have maintained a pioneering spirit throughout the Covid-19 period and have an exciting pipeline of initiatives in place to drive both the business’s success as well as the channel’s recovery forward.

“Mondelez WTR is inspired to create fresh opportunities to delight returning travellers through our innovative products and ground-breaking activations. We are united, energised and ready to tackle the challenges to ensure that we emerge #StrongerTogether and unlock new areas of growth.”

Kezer’s appointment was effective from 1 August. He replaces Irina Tabaranko who has been named Associate Director, M&A Project Marketing for Mondelez International.

Kezer who has previously Marketing Lead for Gum & Candy for Central Europe, brings 17 years of FMCG industry experience to his new role at Mondelez WTR.

Beatriz De Otto leads customer marketing as Richard Houseago moves to a new role

In addition to his responsibilities as Associate Director Category Marketing, he will lead the marketing efforts for the chocolate, biscuits, gum and candy categories for Mondelez International’s Swiss business unit. He also remains the key contact for the gum and candy categories in Central Europe.

In his new role, Kezer is charged with driving the relevance of Mondelez’s category leaders and connect with a new generation of travelling consumers.

De Otto’s appointment was effective 1 September. She succeeds Richard Houseago who has been named as the International Ecommerce Customer Manager MEU.

De Otto was previously Senior Business Development Manager for Dufry and Lagardère, where she steered business with two of the company’s key retailer partners through the COVID-19 crisis. In her new role as Head of Customer Marketing, De Otto will lead global customer marketing strategy development and promote key growth initiatives. She will also collaborate cross-functionally across internal stakeholders and major retail partners.

De Otto joined Mondelez World Travel Retail in 2012 and boasts a wealth of experience in both commercial and in-store roles. As Head of Customer Marketing, she will drive the company’s in-store agenda, support channel recovery and ensure future growth.

Their leadership and dedication to innovation have been integral to Mondelez WTR’s success as category leader as well as to help the business to navigate the pandemic alongside our valued partners.
