Moët Hennessy brings multisensory pop-up experience to Paris Charles de Gaulle

LVMH-owned Cognac house Moët Hennessy has partnered with Lagardère Travel Retail to launch a multisensory pop-up store at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 2E.

The space, open from 2 May to 2 July, invites visitors to discover the travel retail-exclusive James Hennessy Cognac via an olfactory experience which combines different scents, stories and tastes.

Different areas of the pop-up feature ceramic plates infused with some of the scents found in James Hennessy, such as peach, apricot and pistachio. The pop-up includes stories about the renowned 18th century explorer, entrepreneur and trailblazer and offers tastings.

Moët Hennessy said the pop-up stimulates travellers’ senses and arouses their curiosity about an early pioneer of the Hennessy brand

Travellers can also discover the following Hennessy expressions at the pop-up:

Edition Particulière – an “intense, powerful” Cognac crafted from rare eaux-de-vie selected from the Chai du Fondateur

X.O Mathusalem – a luxury coffret made of American walnut wood, which brings together Hennessy X.O in a six-litre carafe, together with six glasses and accessories

Paradis Impérial – a specially-engraved version of the contemporary creation created for the pop-up

Paradis Magnum – a specially-engraved magnum to mark the Maison Hennessy Paris.

“Commitment to excellence”: Moët Hennessy described the pop-up as a “truly memorable” experience

Moët Hennessy said: “Travel retail is strategically important for Moët Hennessy in terms of business and building the brand’s image, which is based on a commitment to excellence. The pop-up at Charles de Gaulle Airport demonstrates the commitment to travel retail and provides a unique opportunity to engage with consumers by offering them a truly memorable experience.

“It also highlights the fruitful relationship we have developed with Lagardère Travel Retail over the years, a partnership that helps to keep innovating in the travel retail market.”
