PERU. Lima Airport Partners (LAP) has launched what it describes as one of its strongest promotional campaigns of the year at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima.
The ‘Take a Mini with your purchases’ campaign involves a prize draw for a Mini Cooper 3DR Pepper. Shoppers spending over a certain amount in participating outlets qualify for the draw.
LAP told The Moodie Davitt Report that the initiative has encouraged passenger spending.
In 2001 LAP was awarded a 30-year concession for the development and operation of Jorge Chávez International Airport. German airport operator Fraport owns a 70.01% share in LAP.
Jorge Chávez International Airport is the only commercial airport serving the capital Lima, and is the main international gateway to Peru.
