MCH Group names Hans-Kristian Hoejsgaard as interim CEO

Hans-Kristian Hoejsgaard: Interim CEO role with MCH Group in Basel.

SWITZERLAND. Marketing and exhibitions company MCH Group has named Hans-Kristian Hoejsgaard as interim Chief Executive until a full-time appointment is made.

Hoejsgaard, 60, has more than 30 years’ experience in the luxury and consumer goods industry and is a well-known figure in the travel retail business.

Until 1993 he worked for Seagram, one of the world’s largest spirits companies, in Italy, Hong Kong and finally as General Manager in Thailand. He then moved to Guerlain, where he was CEO for the Asia Pacific region until 1998.

Later he became President of the Lancaster Group, and in 2002 was appointed CEO of Georg Jensen, the leading Danish jewellery, watch and silverware group.

In 2008 he took over as CEO and Member of the Board of Timex Group, the prominent US watches company. Between 2011 and 2017 he was CEO of Oettinger Davidoff and most recently he has been running his own consulting firm.

Hoejsgaard said: “I am delighted to be able to support the MCH Group and manage it on an interim basis until a definitive CEO has been found. The MCH Group is another international Basel company that I admire and that I am familiar with as both an exhibitor and a sponsor.
