Mäurer & Wirtz promotes traditional shaving with Tabac Barbershop

Mäurer & Wirtz House of Perfumes will champion traditional shaving at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition with a Tabac Barbershop on its stand (K50, Green Village).

Following the success of the Tabac Barbershop in the TFWA Wellbeing Lounge at last year’s Cannes show, Mäurer & Wirtz has decided to integrate the concept into its stand. Dutch master barber Jan Heidemann will give traditional wet shaves, moustache and beard trims, and skincare advice free of charge to delegates.

The brand’s Tabac Barbershop has featured in promotions around the world over the last 18 months, including Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, shopping malls in Israel, South Africa and the UK, and department stores including El Corte Ingles in Spain.

Mäurer & Wirtz will also present the latest novelties from its brands 4711, Baldessarini, s.Oliver and Betty Barclay at TFWA World Exhibition.

Mäurer & Wirtz Senior Business Development Manager Sascha Gillessen commented: “We were amazed at the popularity of the Tabac pop-up shop at the TFWA show last year. From the customer’s perspective it is a novel and enjoyable experience; from the brand’s perspective it is an excellent opportunity to promote fragrance, shaving and skincare products in a relaxed and informal setting.”
