Maui Jim is targeting Asia Pacific travel retail expansion with its Spring 2018 collection and Asian Fit sunglasses. The brand will showcase its models at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference (K9, basement 2).
New to the ladies’ fashion collection are Jasmine (#738), which comes with round lenses, and the over-sized square Heliconia (#739). Both feature SuperThin Glass MauiGradient lenses set in glossy tortoiseshell or crystal coloured nylon frames. Cat-eye styles include new Honey Girl (#751) and Cathedrals (#782) as well as Blue Hawaii lens variants of the recently launched Plumeria (#768) and Canna (#769).
The men’s range includes Pokowai Arch (#439), a rectangular frame which joins the lightweight PureAir collection, and Barrier Reef (#792), a blue turquoise, brown or black wrap style. The Whitehaven (#776) is a large rectangular frame with dual materials of a matte metal front and acetate temples fitted with Bi-Gradient Mirror STGlass lenses. The square-shaped Compass (#714) is an aviator model with high-shine metal finishes.
