Marchon Eyewear and Victoria Beckham sign exclusive global licensing agreement

Marchon Eyewear has announced an exclusive long-term global licensing agreement with Victoria Beckham. Marchon will develop sunglasses and opticals for the British luxury label.

Marchon said new collections developed under the licensing agreement will be rolled out globally from autumn 2019.

The company said the collections will be developed in Italy and will “embody Victoria Beckham’s intuitive and refined aesthetic” with designs that are in line with the brand’s ready-to-wear and accessories lines.

Marchon hopes to translate Victoria Beckham’s “confident identity and authentic point of view” into a new collection of luxury eyewear.

Marchon Eyewear President and CEO Nicola Zotta commented: “We believe that the Victoria Beckham brand is on the rise and quickly becoming one of the most influential in the industry.

“We are committed to the success of this partnership and look forward to producing eyewear that characterises the brand’s trend-forward designs and contributing to the brand’s continued global growth.”

Victoria Beckham CEO Paolo Riva said: “Eyewear is synonymous with our founder and this license will allow us to scale our presence in the eyewear retail market and capitalise on Marchon’s technical innovation, expertise in product development and global distribution network, while continuing to offer our customers a product that they can feel empowered in, and excited by.”

Marchon said the new line will be sold at select locations across the company’s global retail network, plus Victoria Beckham retail locations.
