GERMANY. Premium casual fashion brand Marc O’Polo was this week presented with the 2009 Forum Award by leading fashion trade journal TextilWirtschaft, at a ceremony held at the Print Media Academy of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.

Marc O’Polo was chosen by a 17-strong independent jury at this year’s “˜Oscars’ of the fashion and textile industry, for its outstanding performance.

“Marc O’Polo represents a history of uncompromising progress in establishing a brand. The brand is synonymous with modern casual wear – clear-cut and down-to-earth, no fuss, no frills,” a jury spokesperson said.

Marc O’Polo CEO Werner Böck, who received the award on behalf of the company, said: “The Forum Award is a great honour for us.
