“Making your journey more delightful”: Dallas Fort Worth Airport implements mobile food pre-order system

USA. Dallas Fort Worth Airport has launched a food pre-order option on its official mobile app.

It is the first US airport to implement M2mobi’s Mobile Food Ordering feature, which allows travellers to order and pay for food in advance from more than 20 restaurants.

Users can order from more than 20 restaurants

The feature is available on both the airport’s mobile iOS and Android apps. Once travellers successfully place their order using a green ‘mobile ordering’ icon, they receive a confirmation and the order will appear in their ‘order history’. The app then navigates users to the restaurant they have chosen where they can pick up their meal.

M2mobi said creating a user-friendly experience was the most important factor in the implementation. The company said it would work with Dallas Fort Worth Airport to improve and upgrade the Mobile Food Ordering feature.

“The passenger journey is going to change drastically in the coming years,” said M2mobi Director Michiel Munneke. “These kinds of innovations are a good start for making your journey more delightful.”
