Making the rocking world go round: Fat Bottom Brewing opens at Nashville International Airport

HMSHost said the aim was to offer travellers a “taste of Nashville” via Fat Bottom mainstays and seasonal favourites. The flagship beers being offered include Ruby Red Ale, Knockout IPA, Ida Golden Ale, WAC American Pale Ale, and the ACME Rooster Brew, which is crafted exclusively for Nashville’s famous Acme Feed & Seed restaurant.

“HMSHost is very excited to partner with the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority and such a beloved local company like Fat Bottom Brewing to bring a modern piece of Nashville culture into the airport,” said HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Kent Vanden Oever.

Fat Bottom Founder Ben Bredesen said the kiosk was “a great opportunity to showcase another homegrown, Nashville business to the millions of visitors that pass through the airport every year”. He added: “Everybody at Fat Bottom is excited and grateful that the Airport Authority and HMSHost agreed to partner with the brewery on this new kiosk in Concourse C.”

Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority President and CEO Doug Kreulen commented: “It is important that our airport is a reflection of the city we serve, which includes the sights, sounds and tastes of Music City, so we are delighted to welcome another popular local brewery to Nashville International Airport.”

Fat Bottom Brewing is open seven days a week and all beers will be available on draft and can be consumed at the kiosk, walking through the concourse, or at the gate. HMSHost will also sell 4-packs of 16-ounce cans for consumption once a passenger’s destination is reached.
