‘Making moments magical’: Godiva shares the Happiness with global travel retail

Belgian chocolatier Godiva will unveil a new travel retail-exclusive product, the Happiness Collection, at next week’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (stand E2 Basement 2).

The limited-edition collection, available in 235g, will launch in global travel retail from September.

Godiva said the Happiness Collection is inspired by the notion that happiness must be found, and savoured, in the present moment. It is intended to be a catalyst for moments of collective and individual joy, the brand added.

“For us, chocolate is about making moments magical,” said one of Godiva’s chefs chocolatier behind the creation of the Happiness Collection

16 chocolate pieces, in five flavours, feature in the Happiness Collection. The line’s packaging was created by upcoming Belgian artist Wout Vromans.

The five flavours are as follows:

Vanilla Caramel Ganache – a sweet blend of vanilla ganache and crème brûlée-flavoured caramel, covered in milk chocolate.

Black Tea Szechuan Pepper Ganache – a blend of smoked black tea mousse and Szechuan pepper ganache, coated in dark chocolate.

Pistachio Praliné – a blend of pistachio praliné piqued with a hint of salt, covered with milk chocolate.

Coffee Praliné – a white chocolate hazelnut coffee praline

Dark Chocolate Almond Ganache – a dark chocolate ganache with almond pieces.
