Henry London was launched at Baselworld in 2015 and quickly secured distributors in dozens of countries around the world. The launch contributed to record turnover in 2016 for brand owner Peers Hardy.
Henry London, now distributed in over 75 countries worldwide, said it is experiencing ‘exceptional’ growth as trends start to move away from Scandinavian styling to more modern traditional design.
Watches come with a high double domed lens, echoed by domed dials with raised markers and Dauphine tipped hands. Each piece is finished with either a Milanese mesh band or soft leather strap with vintage detailing and comes with a two-year international warranty.
The collection is available now to launch inflight and retails from £75 to £170.
Peers Hardy General Sales Manager Peter Ashfield said: “We have proven the demand for a vintage-inspired brand in the global domestic market and this now gives us the confidence to launch Henry London in the ever-competitive travel retail sector.
“Henry London is our baby, designed in our UK studios and born from a watch found on London’s vintage Portobello Road market by one of our designers. We are passionate about our brand and thus it was important that we found an agent who shared this enthusiasm and that we could trust to represent Henry London to the highest possible standard.”
Magnify Brands Managing Director Martin Lovatt commented: “We are proud to be associated with such an exciting, on trend brand as Henry London. Peers Hardy is a major supplier of own label watches to many of the UK’s top high street fashion chains and also boasts an enviable portfolio of watch brands which cater to all ages and tastes.
“Peers Hardy has an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience within the domestic global watch sector, as a result, I have no doubt Henry London will be a huge global success both in domestic markets and within global travel retail/duty free.”
Peers Hardy’s portfolio includes Radley London, Orla Kiely, Disney and CLUSE.
Magnify Brands was also recently appointed as the duty free/travel retail distributor for Dollie Jewellery. The brand’s products are handmade in the UK by a dedicated team of ‘Dollie’ makers, using 925 silver beads and real gemstones.
Prices range from £15 up to £60.
Lovatt said: “Dollie is a wonderful British family owned business. Karen and her daughter Katie (the two founders) are both enthusiastic, honest individuals whose passion for delivering exceptional jewellery shines through in everything they do.
“While Dollie’s impulse onboard retails and exceptional quality will deliver comparable volumes to less expensive brands onboard, their high onboard prices will deliver our clients greater turnover and profitability.”
