The MAC Mariah Carey collection, featuring the singer’s trademark butterflies and glitter, is being launched into select travel retail locations for a limited period from December.
The collection includes colour cosmetics plus a Liquid Eye Liner; Pro Longwear Lip Pencil; Mascara; Extra Dimension Skin Finish and Loose Powder.
The global megastar has put her print on the collection: References to the pop diva’s greatest hits provide the names for some items while others feature imprints of her favourite butterflies and even a design of the singer’s face.
Highlights of the collection, which centres around a shimmering palette of browns, golds and pinks, include:
Lipstick in All I Want (a champagne shimmer frost); Bit of Bubbly (a soft pinky nude cremesheen) and Dahhlinggg! (a pinky peach cremesheen).
Lipglass in Little Miss Monroe (true gold shimmer); Dreamlover (dirty pink shimmer) and It’s Just Like Honey (tan shimmer).
Eyeshadow Quads in I’m That Chick You Like, which includes a satin shadow in dirty mocha with gold pearl and It’s Everything, which contains a velvet shadow in muted black with red shimmer.
