m1nd-set reports record performance in 2018

SWITZERLAND/INTERNATIONAL. Research agency m1nd-set has reported record turnover for 2018 and its highest year-on-year growth rate of 22%.

The company credited the performance to an upsurge in new clients, growing business from existing customers and the success of its data tool Business 1ntelligence Service (B1S).

B1S is a subscription-based interactive tool that consolidates traffic data and forecasts with m1nd-set’s proprietary shopper research, offering users the ability to cross-analyse.

Asia is the company’s strongest growth area for research.

m1nd-set Owner and CEO Peter Mohn, shown speaking at The Trinity Forum in Shanghai last November, credits a record year to the company’s in-depth understanding of worldwide shopper behaviour.

Owner and CEO Peter Mohn said growth stemmed from m1nd-set’s developing consultancy business as well as core research activities.

He added: “Clients are increasingly looking to us to conduct in-house trainings and workshops to educate the sales and marketing teams on the subtleties and differences, as well as the common traits, in the behaviour of shoppers from different world regions and across different nationalities.

“There is a strong growing interest also in the importance of new touchpoints in travel retail and how the shopper journey is evolving significantly as shoppers react and interact differently with the fast-developing technology solutions.

“The m1nd-set USP is our business knowledge in combination with unparalleled presence with teams conducting face-to-face research at around 60 airports on all continents across the world. This enables us to obtain far greater accuracy in the shopper analysis than most agencies, which recruit shoppers through online databases to complete surveys.”
